Lorna Slater brings Antarctica to Stow

On Sunday 30 January, around 60 people packed into Stow Primary School to hear Lorna Slater, Scottish Greens co-leader, talk about her time working in Antarctica and what it taught her about the climate crisis.

The questions afterwards ranged from polar ice to Borders bus timetables, which is exactly the point: the climate emergency is global, but the action that matters happens locally. Think global, act local.

Thanks to everyone who came, and to Stow Primary School for hosting us.
