The Scottish Greens now have our biggest ever group of 15 MSPs in the Scottish Parliament. We have won our first two constituencies, in Edinburgh and Glasgow, and for the first time everyone in Scotland is represented by at least one Scottish Green MSP.
Here in the Scottish Borders, your Green MSP is Laura Moodie, elected for the South Scotland region. In 2021, Laura missed out by just 115 votes. This time, thanks to everyone who campaigned and voted Green, she’s on her way to Holyrood.
The Scottish Greens have already delivered for the Borders: free bus travel for everyone under 22, an end to peak rail fares, and school meal debt wiped out. With 15 MSPs, we can do so much more on the cost of living, the climate emergency and rural services.
Get in touch with Laura: email Laura.Moodie.msp@parliament.scot, or find her on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook at @lauramoodiesgp.
Thank you to everyone who voted to demand better.
