There will most likley be a general election for the UK Parliament sometime this year (Jan ’25 at the very latest). Borders Greens’ members overwhelmingly voted to stand candidates in both the constituencies our regional branch covers.
The Scottish Green Party aims to field Scottish Green candidates at every election, Council, Scottish, and United Kingdom. Without Green voices the threat of climate breakdown will be effectively absent when Westminster elections come around. None of the other parties are focused on this, the most pressing issue of our time, so it is vital that Greens do.
